ARK Series Of
Welded Gangable Rack |
|
|
|
|
Ark series of racks have been
designed and manufactured per EIA standard # EIA-310-C. The design of
his rack has taken place per many inputs and suggestions from
contractors and integrators. The ARK series racks are 23 ¾” wide and
come in 32” depth and different heights. These series of racks have
black textured powder coat finish on them. The width of the rack with 2
side panels installed is 25”.
The ARK series of racks are manufactured from two uni-trust side posts.
The side posts are made from 16 GA CRS, and are welded to the top and
bottom brackets using our state of the art Robotic Spot Welding
equipment. |
|
|
ARK series of racks have the
capability of mounting 19” equipment or panels vertically between the
side support brackets. This unique and user friendly feature enables the
installer with endless possibilities. This feature becomes very useful
when a number of racks are ganged together in a large system. Clip nuts
with 10-32 thread are required for mounting of the 19” gear to the side
support brackets. There are a total of 48RU spaces available vertically
on each side of the rack between the support brackets. ARK series of
racks come with either a pair of 11 GA “Z” shaped or regular “L” shaped
rack rails for mounting of the equipment in the front and back. The
rails are numbered 1 through 44 and tapped with 10-32 thread. If you
need to mount extra heavy equipment in the rack, we suggest you use the
“Z” shaped rack rails.
The top and bottom corners of
the ARK series racks are joined using two 16 GA CRS pieces, which after
welding it produces a thickness equivalent to 11 GA CRS. There are a
total of eight bushings inserted on top and bottom surfaces. If leveling
feet are desired, the bottom bushings can be used for leveling of the
rack. The top four bushings can be used for joining and ganging up of
the racks from outside using our AJP plates. This simple concept lets
the installer join the racks from outside without removing any gear from
inside. The ARK series of racks have two access panels in the back of
the rack. These panels are made from 14 GA CRS. The top panel has
knockouts for two of each 1 ½”, 1”, ¾”, and ½” conduit. The bottom panel
has one of each of the 1 ½”, 1”, ¾”, and ½” conduit knockout, plus a
breakable blank area for special project purposes. If passage of large
cable is required at the top or bottom of the rack, these panels can be
removed or broken apart (bottom panel only.) |
|
|
|
The top surface of the Ark series racks have a total of four ¾”
knockouts (2 on left and 2 on right back side.) These knockouts are
used for passing through any signal or power cables to the inside of
the rack without removing any of the access panels. Also, these is
an 8RU opening at the top surface of the racks. This opening can be
used for mounting of any termination, connector, fan, or blower
panels. 10-32 clip nuts are required for mounting of any of these
panels. Grounding for the racks is provided using a 10-32 x 1” stud
at the bottom of the rack.

|
|
|
ARK series racks have a flush mounted back door with a special
one-piece lock. The back door is standard on the ARK series racks;
however, if no rear door is required, please specify “W” after the
P/N. The ARK series of racks have an optional front door. It comes
with hinges when purchased, and can be mounted from outside. The
front door has a lock that is keyed different from the back door.
The ARK series racks come with optional side panels. These side
panels are made from 16 GA CRS, and are very easy to install. They
are shipped in pairs, and can be secured to the rack from inside
using ¼ - 20 hardware if desired.
If a caster base is required
for the rack, pair of caster brackets with casters us supplied.
These caster brackets can be mounted from inside to the rack using
bolts very quickly. Addition of the caster brackets adds only ¾” to
the actual height of the rack.
If requirement rises for
securing down the rack to the floor, couple of slide type brackets
with threaded nuts is supplied. These brackets are made from 11 GA
CRS and are very strong. These brackets are anchored down to the
floor using drilling template. Then the rack is rolled over these
guided slide brackets and secured to the brackets and floor within
minutes. |

BRK Series Of
Welded Racks |
|
|
|
|
BRK series of racks have
been designed and manufactured per EIA standard # EIA-310-C. The BRK series of
racks are made from 16 GA CRS. They have solid sides, and are spot
welded together using our Robotic Welding System. These racks have
been designed for an installation when economy is needed. The BRK
series of racks are 22” wide and come in different heights. The
finish is a durable black textured powder coat. They come with a
pair of 11 GA, 10-32 threaded rack rail and are numbered for ease of
installation of the equipment. Extra pair of rack rail is available
as an option, if rear supporting is required.
There
are two access panels in the back of the rack. These panels are made
|
|
|
from 14 GA
CRS. The top panel
has knockouts for two of each 1 ½”, 1”, ¾”, and ½” conduit.
The bottom panel has one of each of the 1 1/2”, 1”, ¾”, and ½”
conduit knockout, plus a breakable blank area for special project
purposes. If passage of large cable is required at the top or bottom of
the rack, these panels can be removed or broken apart (bottom panel
only.) Also, there is a ¼-20 by 1” long grounding stud available at the
bottom of the rack for electrical grounding of the equipment.
The BRK series racks have a
flush mounted back door with a special one-piece lock. The back door is
standard on the BRK series racks; however, if there is no requirement
for the back door, please specify “W” after the P/N. Front doors are
available for the BRK series of racks and are optional. They come with
hinges and have a lock which is keyed different than the back door, and
can be mounted from outside in no time.
If caster are required for the
rack, an optional caster base (BCB25) is available. This caster base
comes with 4 heavy duty casters, and gets attached to the rack from
inside of the rack. If there is a requirement for the leveling feet,
they can be purchased in a set of four (P/N ALF.) |

Networking Rack |
|
|
|
|
|
OFRK-45 aluminum rack is manufactured per EIA
standard # EIA-310-C. This 19” open frame rack is constructed from two
3/16” thick extruded aluminum uprights. The uprights have mounting holes
in the front and back, which are tapped for 12-24 thread. Heavy duty ¼”
thick aluminum bases join the two uprights together and create a stable
15” flat surface for securing it to the floor. The OFRK-45 series of
racks come with a bag of 24 12-24 screws as well as hardware for
assembling the racks together. The finish on this rack is either black
powder or clear aluminum. |

SAR Series Racks |
|
|
|
|
|
The SAR Series of non-assembled racks ship flat
and assemble in less than 30 min. SAR Series Racks use four full
threaded (10-32) rack rails, and are joined at the top and bottom using
¼-20 nuts (studs are pressed into top and bottom pieces.) The top and
bottom pieces are manufactured from 14 GA CRS and feature slots for rear
supporting of equipment of different depths. The depth is customizable
by means of optional side support brackets and rack rails. These racks
are available in 8RU, 14RU, 21RU, 30RU, 38RU, and 43RU heights. All SAR
Series of Racks are 19.15” wide and are available in depths of either
20” or 24”. Each rack comes with one pair of side support brackets as
well as mounting hardware. SAR Series Racks feature a durable flat back
powder coat finish. (Casters add 4-3/8” to overall rack height.) |
